Skills/Qualifications:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the conceptual estimate, budgets, general conditions, system studies and comparison, and value engineering, as well as staying abreast of industry developments applicable to estimating.
- Meet and consult with clients, vendors, and/or personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and problem solve.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Select and coordinate with vendors or subcontractors.
- Consult with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Follow up on cost monitoring/reporting systems and procedures. Ensure quality control.
- Conduct studies to develop and establish standard labor and related data in order to reduce cost.
- Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
- Prepare written contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Handle all safety issues.
- Attend/conduct all weekly meetings in conjunction with project start-up, pre-bid, and job progress.
- Manage project closeouts and ensure that all warranty documents are requested and received.
- Manage the scheduling, and development of the roofing team (which will include partnering with HR on all labor relation needs for the roofing division).
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced office environment requiring multiple residential & commercial contacts each day.

This position is a sales position with a growing company. You will be selling asphalt shingle roofing, metal roofing, and flat membrane roofing to residential and commercial clients. If you have experience selling Solar, Alarms, Roofing, Cars, or ANYTHING – you’ll do great.
We provide leads and training. Your goal should be to quote 3 to 10 roofs per day and to try and close these roofs. Your expected first year compensation is $55 to $95K. You will travel to clients homes and walk them through a sales presentation on why they should choose RoofTek as their roofer. There is no limit to what a top performer can make. There ARE limits to the number of roofing sales jobs available.
Service Repair Technician
