We are seeking an organized, professional, experienced business operator capable of running and growing a roofing business. We are expanding our very successful business into new areas.

No roofing experience needed - in fact we are not looking for people with roofing experience. We provide hands on training and mentoring and can accelerate your learning of roofing. We are seeking for an individual with the qualities and attributes that help us lead our new team to success - who can build this location with us.

The General Manager will have sole responsibility for the P&L of the Atlanta location.

The General Manager should have demonstrable experience in hiring and managing a team. You should naturally be interested in creating clarity for all in roles, in facilitating clear and open communication among the team and clients, and in focusing the members of the team on performance and accountability.

Can you demonstrate that you have done high performance things and are looking for the opportunity to make it happen again? Do you have the strength, tenacity, drive, and desire to build from the ground up? If you are good at building team unity, managing projects, following through, resolving issues, and at being a tie-breaker to keep the organization moving forward - this might be the job for you.

Experience finding, recruiting, and hiring a leadership team around you, and keeping them harmoniously integrated is crucial - and the team you build will be pivotal to the execution of the business plan.

The General Manager should feel comfortable identifying challenges, resolving conflicts, and engaging issues - and in assisting the team in doing the same. RoofTek expansion may happen in several ways dependent on the specific location, and interest of both parties.

  1. RoofTek sells owner operator businesses (franchises). In this scenario we find operators and sell them the franchise, and they operate the business - and pay us a royalty. This is one scenario we may discuss with you. This is not the only scenario we are looking for - but our goal is to be up front in disclosing that we actively sell franchises - and if you like us and our business this may be one consideration for how you get involved.
  2. RoofTek is actively expanding our corporate locations - and to accomplish this we are hiring terrific candidates. In this relationship you become an employee and the opportunity costs you nothing - but we hire you to manage our location.
  3. We often find and participate in hybrid scenarios of this. Some of our General Managers, Sales Managers and others are interested in participating as owners without the full risk of becoming a franchisee - but they are willing to consider all options.

The Compensation

Start up Sales Managers will be paid a modest base that increases automatically in tiers as the sales of the organization increase. In addition to the base pay (that increases as sales grow) the Sales Manager will be paid commissions on their own sales, as well as monthly and quarterly bonuses, and an annual bonus.

You will be looking for first year sales team members to make $80,000 to $120,000 in their first 12 months with the company, and a sales manager should make similar amounts as long as there is growth.

Customer Service - Field Rep

  • Membrane & Duradek experience
  • Repair roofs utilizing asphalt shingles
  • Repair roofs using Leister heat welder (TPO or PVC roofing)

We are seeking an organized, professional, experienced business operator capable of running and growing a roofing business. We are expanding our very successful business into new areas.

No roofing experience needed - in fact we are not looking for people with roofing experience. We provide hands on training and mentoring and can accelerate your learning of roofing. We are seeking for an individual with the qualities and attributes that help us lead our new team to success - who can build this location with us.

The General Manager will have sole responsibility for the P&L of the branch location.

The General Manager should have demonstrable experience in hiring and managing a team. You should naturally be interested in creating clarity for all in roles, in facilitating clear and open communication among the team and clients, and in focusing the members of the team on performance and accountability.

Can you demonstrate that you have done high performance things and are looking for the opportunity to make it happen again? Do you have the strength, tenacity, drive, and desire to build from the ground up? If you are good at building team unity, managing projects, following through, resolving issues, and at being a tie-breaker to keep the organization moving forward - this might be the job for you.

First and foremost, we are looking for the right candidate. When we find this person they will have the opportunity, but are not required to, have equity in their branch location.

RoofTek expansion may happen in several ways dependent on the specific location, and interest of both parties.

  1. RoofTek sells owner operator businesses (franchises). In this scenario we find operators and sell them the franchise, and they operate the business - and pay us a royalty. This is one scenario we may discuss with you. This is not the only scenario we are looking for - but our goal is to be up front in disclosing that we actively sell franchises - and if you like us and our business this may be one consideration for how you get involved.
  2. RoofTek is actively expanding our corporate locations - and to accomplish this we are hiring terrific candidates. In this relationship you become an employee and the opportunity costs you nothing - but we hire you to manage our location.
  3. We often find and participate in hybrid scenarios of this. Some of our General Managers, Sales Managers and others are interested in participating as owners without the full risk of becoming a franchisee - but they are willing to consider all options.

  4. After our interview if there is a potential fit we will ask you to consider which, if any, of the 3 scenarios above are interesting to you. We may also ask you to take some testing (like Myers-Briggs or Kolbe, Visionary Integrator Assessment, etc)
  5. If we all feel there may be a mutual fit we may schedule a face to face meeting with you flying to our corporate office (expenses paid by us) or we fly to you to meet you (expenses paid by us). Depending on which of the 3 scenarios you were interested in - if franchising IS a consideration - we would forward you the required Franchise Disclosure Documents in advance of our meetings - and would ask you to sign a receipt that you had received these documents.

  • Accelerate your learning about roofing. We have an online university for your and for anyone you may hire to quickly join the team and understand their role and responsibilities. You must be willing to invest time to accelerate learning and assist others on the team to do the same.
  • Secure early wins. Your role will be to assist us in-market with finding, interviewing, recruiting and hiring other members of the team. In addition you may be tasked with any other critical duties including setting up shop, obtaining local licensing, etc. These wins are crucial to our momentum.
  • Achieve Alignment. You may be asked to travel to training, attend weekly meetings or stand up meetings either via phone or zoom, as well as participate with our support team. We will work closely with you.
  • Build the team dynamic. Our goal is to build relationships with GMs or Area Managers that last. To this end we may fly to you, fly you to us, or invite you to attend (at our expense) trainings with our other GMs and leadership. This is important work so that our personal and business relationship can grow.
  • Utilize the tools provided. From software to online training, from sales tools to conference calls - the process will not be without its challenges and frustrations. You must be tenacious in using the tools and leading your team to use the tools as we get going!!
